Christian Cantrell posted a recent visitors comment on his site on how to eliminate ColdFusion whitespace. The inability to get rid of extraneous whitespace is on my “Top 10 ColdFusion Annoyances” list for sure.
I followed the instructions and installed the filter on my workstation, and it worked like a charm! Note for people running MX applications on J2EE Application servers, you will find the web.xml for each CF application instance in:
$J2EEAppHome/cfusion-ear/cfusion-war/WEB-INF
