The Pragmatic Programmer is one of those books I bought eons ago which seemed infinitely useful and have never really had the time to dig into between going to work and working on my CS degree. Luckily there is a quick reference guide which summarizes the points in said book.

You should definatelly read this book, don’t wait, reading only a summary doesn’t really give the really usueful information that are in the book.
If you want more encouragement, then you can check my review of Pragmatic Programmer (hope it is ok to put this here) and try to get a copy of Code Complete, which is also a very good book about similar subjects.
