		<description>Hi Brandon, I think this is very interesting, as one of the developers of CFEclipse we have to parse the language (luckily not the functions!) to make sure the syntax is correct.

I did a series of posts comparing the speed of object instantiation in CF, &lt;a href="http://www.markdrew.co.uk/blog/index.cfm/2006/11/30/Java-and-CFC-instantiation-comparing-the-engines" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://www.markdrew.co.uk/blog/index.cfm/2006/11/30/Java-and-CFC-instantiation-comparing-the-engines&lt;/a&gt;,  which I hope you find interesting, and probably coraborate your points (I still have to do a CFSCRIPT vs CFSET test</description>
